Dr. Lauren Holley was born in South Africa, and her family later moved to Brisbane, Australia, in 2005. She completed her veterinary degree at the University of Queensland (UQ) School of Veterinary Science in 2019. In January of 2020, she moved to the United States to complete her 18-month rotating internship here at Rhinebeck Equine prior to completing a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, in Massachusetts. She has returned to Rhinebeck Equine as an internal medicine specialist as well as a reproductive fellow (under the guidance of our amazing Dr. Pasch). Dr. Holley is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and has special interests in the periparturient period (both mare and neonatal foal care), respiratory medicine, and emergency and critical care.
