Dr. Camilo J. Morales is an equine veterinarian from Colombia currently working as a clinician and researcher at the University of California, Davis. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), a PhD candidate, and a resident with the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology (ACVCP). Dr. Morales’s work bridges clinical practice and research, with a focus on clinical pharmacology and its application to equine medicine. His interests include drug efficacy, safety, and therapeutic optimization, as well as the management of infectious diseases in horses. At UC Davis, he contributes to both the Equine Internal Medicine Service and ongoing research efforts aimed at improving equine health through evidence-based, pharmacologically informed care. Dr. Morales is also involved in the education and mentorship of veterinary students and residents, and he remains committed to advancing equine medicine through interdisciplinary collaboration and international engagement.
