Dr. Betsy Vaughan, DVM, DACVSMR is currently a Clinical Professor of Large Animal Ultrasound at UC Davis. She joined the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine faculty in 2006 after completing a 2-year residency in Large Animal Ultrasound there. Her interests include equine musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation and minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedures. She greatly enjoys teaching and is an avid instructor both in the UCD Large Animal Clinic and at continuing education seminars across the country. Dr. Vaughan is a 2002 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a 1-year internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL in 2003.
