Dr. Mary Beth Whitcomb is a Professor Emerita from UC Davis where she was faculty in Large Animal Ultrasound from 1999-2020. Dr. Whitcomb received her DVM (1996) and MBA (2013) from UC Davis and completed an equine internship in Texas and a fellowship in Large Animal Ultrasound & Cardiology at New Bolton Center. Dr. Whitcomb established a similar fellowship program at UCD which has since trained several equine imaging specialists. She has delivered nearly 800 presentations on equine ultrasonography and has been recognized as a Large Animal Associate Member of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging since 2011. Dr. Whitcomb currently enjoys part time faculty activities, involvement in clinical studies, continuing education and organized veterinary medicine.
