Dr. Parkinson grew up riding ranch horses in southern Ohio. Upon graduating from Ohio State University in 2017 she completed a rotating internship in Florida before moving to Colorado for an American Board of Veterinary Practitioners residency. After completion of her residency, Dr Parkinson returned home where she is currently an assistant professor at The Ohio State University. She enjoys providing comprehensive ambulatory care to the equine community of central Ohio while teaching and mentoring veterinary students!
