Krista Estell DVM, DACVIM is a Clinical Associate Professor at Virginia Tech's Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center and veterinarian for the Equine Disease Communication Center. Her research interests include: infectious disease, oncology, neurology, and neonatology. As a clinically-oriented veterinarian, Dr. Estell has a passion for evidence-based medicine and research that improves the practice of veterinary medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Estell enjoys spending time with her two children, running and hiking, and craft beer.
