Dr. Tena Ursini DVM PhD DACVSMR CERP is currently the director of the Equine Performance and Rehabilitation Center at the University of Tennssee. Clinically she specializes in complexes cases of poor performance, lameness, and has coined the term "topline dysfunction" to help describe and characterize pain, weakness, and lack of mobility in the topline. Her research focus is developing objective outcome measures for quality of movement and developing evidence based rehabilitation plans to get horses back to work safer and more efficiently.
