Dr. Mary Beth Whitcomb is a Professor Emerita with the UC Davis Large Animal Ultrasound Service. After her DVM (UCD-1996), she completed an equine internship in Texas before heading to New Bolton Center for a Large Animal Ultrasound & Cardiology Fellowship. Back at UC Davis, Dr. Whitcomb established a similar fellowship program which has since trained several equine imaging specialists. She has delivered nearly 800 presentations on equine ultrasonography and has been recognized as a Large Animal Associate Member of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging since 2011. Dr. Whitcomb currently enjoys recall and locum faculty activities and remains involved in clinical studies, CE events and organized veterinary medicine.
